Overview:
If you've always wanted to learn how to use a firearm and have never known where to begin, this is the place. You may come to this course afraid or even wary of firearms, but you will leave with a good deal of knowledge with firearms and their function. We hope that you will also take with you the knowledge and level of responsibility required to become a firearm owner and begin to enjoy the world of shooting sports. This ten hour course is an introduction to firearm ownership in all aspects.
Students successfully completing this course are entitled to a National Rifle Association Certificate. This certificate satisfies a requirement needed to apply for a pistol permit in the State of Connecticut, and other jurisdictions.
