NRA Basic Pistol Course
MANDATORY REQUIREMENT FOR STATE CARRY PERMITS

Overview:
If you've always wanted to learn how to use a firearm and have never known where to begin, this is the place. You may come to this course afraid or even wary of firearms, but you will leave with a good deal of knowledge regarding firearms and their function. We hope that you will also take with you the knowledge and level of responsibility required to become a firearm owner and begin to enjoy the world of shooting sports. This eight hour course is an introduction to firearm ownership in all aspects.

Students successfully completing this course are entitled to a National Rifle Association Certificate. This certificate satisfies a requirement needed to apply for a pistol permit in the State of Connecticut, and other jurisdictions.

NRA Basic Rifle Course

Overview:
The NRA Basic Rifle Course offers a basic education in rifle shooting. Like any other sport, shooting a rifle is an acquired skill that calls for a step-by-step learning approach. The curriculum of the course, written by shooters, for the National Rifle Association offers a thorough intoduction to the world of sports shooting and rifle competition.

Students completing this course are entitled to a National Rifle Association certificate.

This course is designed for individuals interested in becoming Range Safety Officers.

This is a non firing course and is well suited for anyone interested in the function of a shooting range and firearm safety.

Advanced Firearms Training

Overview:
This type of training is is designed for individuals who are ready to expand their firearms knowledge.

A State Firearms Permit does not qualify anyone to carry a firearm, Having a permit allows a citizen to exercise their right to carry a firearm under the Second Amendment of the Bill of Rights.

There is no standard definition of the term qualified for civillians when it comes to carrying a concealed firearm.

Owning a firearm can add an element of security, it can also introduce tremendous liability to an individual.

Advanced training is designed to increase your firearms proficiency and level of firearms education.

Increase your skill level, learn new skills as you prepare for IDPA or other forms of tactical competition.

We believe that firearms education should never end, training and strong practice techniques with the appropriate tools will go along way to ensuring not only your safety but your enjoyment with the sport of shooting as well. Equipment List:
